Subud Sale

This past weekend I was in my first show/sale in three years. It felt great. I took two large boxes of ceramics with me and returned home with one. Overall I was pleased. It was good to be around other potters and artists. I have been throwing when I can. Its funny how work and family and life in general gets in the way of throwing pots.

Behind the wheel

It feels good to be behind the wheel again. The potter's wheel that is. I feel as if I have come home. I missed my ol' girl. My wonderful tank of a thing. My lockerbie. I started throwing again after being away from it for three years. My hands haven't forgotten. The feeling of the clay between my fingers was magic. Like buttttta.
